OwlCAD mcp_server
**Parametric 3D CAD for 3D printing, driven by your agent.** OwlCAD gives your AI assistant a real CAD kernel. It can build editable models from primitives, booleans, patterns and generators, check them for printability, and export print-ready files. The same projects open in the OwlCAD browser editor. Your agent is the designer. The server doesn't send your prompts to another model: it runs the geometry and reports back exact results. ### What your agent can do - **Model**: save, edit and update parametric projects (a node tree or OpenSCAD `.scad`), with variables and configurations - **See its work**: `render` returns PNG views of the model - **Check before printing**: watertightness, overhangs, thinnest wall, build-volume fit, volume, filament estimate, part collisions - **Fix and prepare**: repair imported meshes, split parts too big for the bed into halves with alignment joints - **Import and export**: STL / OBJ / 3MF / DXF in; STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, DXF and SVG out - **Share**: publish read-only links, remix public projects, organize folders, open a project in the editor ### Connecting Paste `https://mcp.owlcad.com` as a remote connector and sign in with OAuth, or use a personal access token as a bearer header. Scopes: `read`, `write`, `export`, `ask`. **Requires OwlCAD Pro.** Units are millimeters, with Z up.
