Search and compare business software from the [Findstack](https://findstack.com) catalog — thousands of products across hundreds of categories, with pricing, features, integrations, target company sizes and verified user reviews. Useful when someone describes a need ("a CRM for a 10-person sales team", "open source analytics with a free plan") and you need a short, defensible shortlist rather than a guess. **Tools** - `search_products` — search by keyword, category, tech stack, company size, or capability (free plan, has API, open source) - `get_product` — full detail for one product: pricing plans, features, segments, integrations - `compare_products` — side-by-side comparison of 2–5 products - `find_alternatives` — competitors to a given product, ranked by rating and review volume - `list_categories` — browse or search categories to resolve a vague need into a slug - `get_category` — category overview with top products, price range and common features **Notes** No authentication or API key required. Read-only — nothing mutates state. Rate limited to 120 requests/minute. Detail tools return Markdown, so results are ready to cite; search returns JSON. Listings are editorially independent, though some carry affiliate relationships — results are a catalog, not a ranked endorsement.
