SQL Server MCP mcp_server

One MCP entry for every SQL Server you administer. Connections live in a single `connections.json`, grouped by client or environment and hot-reloaded without restarting your agent. Every response reports which server and database answered — the line that matters when you run thirty instances across eight clients. Beyond running queries it returns **execution plans**, **index layouts** and **stored-procedure source**, so an agent can diagnose a slow query instead of guessing. - Install: `npx -y @cevelas/mcp-sqlserver` - Per-connection `readOnly` guard that rejects writes before they leave your machine - `${env:VAR}` so passwords never sit in the config file - Windows domain (NTLM) and Entra ID authentication - MIT, with tests and CI on Node 18, 20 and 22 Built for DBAs and consultants, not for a demo against a single localhost database.
